On Friday, May 1, 2026, we conducted a fire drill for all employees.
Starting this fiscal year, we significantly reorganized our self-defense fire-fighting organization to better reflect procedures required in the event of an actual fire.

As this was the first fire drill conducted under the new organizational structure, we reviewed a full sequence of emergency response procedures, including first aid for injured persons, emergency reporting and communication, initial fire suppression, and evacuation guidance. In addition, we reconfirmed the storage locations of emergency equipment used by each team.

Following the fire drill, we provided a lecture on the proper use of water fire extinguishers for newly hired employees.

The session included an explanation of situations in which water fire extinguishers can and cannot be used, as well as practical guidance on correct operating procedures and the appropriate distance to maintain from the fire source during use. Through this hands-on training, participants learned how to perform proper initial fire suppression in the event of a fire.

We will continue to conduct fire drills on a regular basis and strive to ensure that all employees are able to respond calmly and appropriately with the highest priority placed on protecting human life in the event of an emergency.
