Three months have passed since the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
There are still many people who are forced to live as evacuees, and intensive reconstruction support continues from all directions.
Therefore, I purchased Wajima lacquered chopsticks in hopes of reviving Wajima lacquerware, which is a local Noto industry and culture.
These chopsticks can be said to be a lucky charm that miraculously survived the disaster-stricken Wajima Nuri factory.
We were lucky enough to purchase this to help support the reconstruction efforts, and distributed two servings to each employee.
At our booth at CPHI Japan 2024, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from April 17th to 19th.
We will also be handing out these chopsticks to our customers as ”transactions”.
